In Connecticut, it is illegal to carry a firearm on any school property, even with a valid permit. This includes both public and private schools, including the property of universities and colleges. It is important to note that this restriction applies to all individuals, regardless of whether they have a valid permit or not.

Option A, state parks, is incorrect because it is legal to carry a firearm in state parks as long as the individual has a valid permit. Option B, restaurants serving alcohol, is incorrect because while it is illegal to carry a firearm while under the influence of drugs or alcohol, it is generally legal to carry a firearm in a restaurant that serves alcohol unless otherwise posted. Option D, on one's own property, is incorrect because in most cases, it is legal to carry a firearm on one's own property with a valid permit.

It is important for individuals to be aware of their state's laws and restrictions regarding firearm possession and carry to avoid any potential legal consequences. It is also important to respect and adhere to any restrictions, such as the one in question, that have been put in place to promote safety in certain areas.
